Being the most important component of an aerial cable car system, aerial cable car poles carry the steel cable and cabins. The poles used in these systems are grouped as carrying poles, lowering poles and bearing poles, and are designed by considering the respective loads.
The pole shaft is as a single piece for up to 12m height and flanged type connection method is used for poles over 12m. Poles are manufactured using Automated Submerged
Arc Welding and Automated MIG/MAG Welding methods.
