The IRD 1200 dark heater adapts excellently to any environment thanks to its simultaneously minimalist and stylish design. In outdoor areas, the device makes a very good impression as it is dustproof as well as splash- and jet water-proof according to protection class IP55.

The cosy infrared warmth of the dark heater is generated without the visible and brightly glowing heating tube typical of conventional infrared heaters. Instead, the heater features a concealed stainless steel heating coil embedded in aluminium – the heat source remains invisible. A perfect and elegant solution for outdoor areas where additional light would be disruptive, for example because it conflicts with the existing lighting concept.

Because the IRD 1200 emits its radiant energy mainly in the medium and long-wave infrared spectrum, it produces an even and targeted heat distribution without warming the surrounding air. The device is thus ideal for wind-protected areas such as terraces, balconies, or outdoor areas of gastronomy.

A 24-hour timer, operation control light, and an LED display complete the IRD 1200’s features. The dark heater is completely low-maintenance as there is no need to replace tubes.
