Product Description
With the easy-to-use BM12, you can measure wood and building moisture in seconds. The easily replaceable steel probe pins ensure a solid connection to the test material and thus precise measurement results. With two selectable measurement modes, you can set the BM12 either to measure the moisture content of cut and firewood or to determine the building moisture in soft building materials such as gypsum, plaster, or screed.
In addition to the material moisture, the device also measures the ambient temperature, which can be read in either °C or °F.
Furthermore, the device features an automatic shut-off for long battery life. The moisture meter switches off after approximately 2 minutes of inactivity.
A calibration curve for common European wood species is stored in the device for wood moisture measurement. Therefore, no further settings are necessary to determine the wood moisture content.
