S-BA2 smoke control dampers have been designed to operate with mechanical or natural smoke and heat extraction systems. They are an effective means by which to remove poisonous gases, smoke and fire. They can also supply clean air to fire compartments. S-BA2 dampers operate via an actuator without a spring. This means that they have both an open and closed safety position. The smoke control dampers require a power supply.<\/p>\n

The smoke control dampers have a body length of 145mm and have no blade overhangs. The smoke control dampers can be installed into walls or on ducts. The casing of the S-BA2 is manufactured from galvanised sheet metal. The blades and mechanism access doors are made from calcium silicate boards. A foam seal with an intumescent seal prevents leaks of heat or smoke. The damper casing and two covers on two sides give protection to the mechanism and the actuator of the S-BA2.
