{"id":31515,"date":"2025-05-14T23:15:24","date_gmt":"2025-05-14T19:15:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/airsystems.ge\/shop\/?post_type=product&#038;p=31515"},"modified":"2025-05-14T23:19:06","modified_gmt":"2025-05-14T19:19:06","slug":"solar-monitoring-station-eko-ms-90","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/airsystems.ge\/shop\/product\/solar-monitoring-station-eko-ms-90\/","title":{"rendered":"Solar Monitoring Station EKO MS-90+"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Solar Monitoring Station EKO MS-90+ is a cost-effective system combining DNI Sensor EKO MS-90 and\u00a0Pyranometer EKO MS-80S\u00a0for DNI, GHI and DHI data without sun tracker.<\/p>\n<p>These two instruments are connected via EKO C-Box Modbus Processing interface with a GPS receiver and a processing unit.<\/p>\n<p>The station accurately measures DNI and GHI and calculates Diffuse irradiance (DHI) from the measurement data and the sun position.<\/p>\n<p>The EKO C-Box is delivered with a 10 m cable, the sensor has a 1.5 m cable to connect to the C-box.<\/p>\n<p>The station provides a digital output signal (RS-485 Modbus RTU) and can be easily connected to various data acquisition systems in solar energy projects and meteorological stations (dataloggers, inverters, SCADA etc). It can also be connected to a PC.<\/p>\n<p>The DNI Sensor EKO MS-90 sensor has a broad spectral response (300-2500 nm) and is calibrated outdoors with a pyrheliometer.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-fluid\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ammonit.com\/media\/filer_public_thumbnails\/filer_public\/c8\/41\/c8417e66-d3b3-438e-b60a-af073db3f1fd\/solar_monitoring_station_eko_ms-90_s64190_overview.png__297x163_q85_subsampling-2.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>C-Box Modbus Processing interface EKO<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-fluid\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ammonit.com\/media\/filer_public_thumbnails\/filer_public\/1a\/8b\/1a8be5e8-fa90-4742-9aac-9cd41c1645cb\/c-box_modbus_processing_interface-front_-_kopie.png__133x95_q85_subsampling-2.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The C-Box Modbus Processing interface provides different functions for sensor control and data processing of different EKO sensors.<\/p>\n<p>In combination with the DNI sensor EKO MS-90, the pulsed output can be converted into a continuous output Voltage or RS-485 Modbus RTU signal. With an additional pyranometer and optional GPS receiver a turnkey system can be configured to measure DNI, GHI and DHI over Modbus.<\/p>\n<p>By using this device, the DNI sensor EKO MS-90 analogue voltage output peaks correspondent to DNI are detected and converted to digital. It then transmits and receives data with serial communication method.<\/p>\n<p>Since it is compatible with RS-485 communication, it is possible to connect with PV monitoring devices, which have this communication function. By setting the pyranometer sensitivity on signal converter, the voltage signal output from pyranometer can be converted to solar irradiance.<\/p>\n<p>The signal converter is integrated in an IP65 enclosure for outdoor installation. The settings for the measurements and communication can be changed by using the setup software.<\/p>\n<h2>DNI Sensor EKO MS-90<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-fluid\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ammonit.com\/media\/filer_public_thumbnails\/filer_public\/77\/1b\/771b5413-3e5f-4b2b-8e0b-b5526c43bc88\/eko-ms-90_-_kopie.jpg__80x80_q85_subsampling-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The DNI Sensor EKO MS-90 measures the Direct Normal Irradiance (DNI) without a sun-tracker.<\/p>\n<p>It has a rotating mirror, which only reflects the sunbeam onto a thermal detector.<\/p>\n<p>The DNI Sensor EKO MS-90 can be used in combination with any pyranometer to measure the DNI and Global Horizontal Irradiance (GHI).
