The result of such a composition is unparalleled\u00a0<strong>Impact Vibration Isolation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Soundproofing<\/strong><br \/>\nThe noise reduction of a single-layer partition, is depended by their\u00a0surface mass, -deflection- stiffness. As doubling the mass, increases\u00a0sound<br \/>\ninsulation by 6 dB. To ensure good noise reduction (Rw \u2264 50 dB), single layer partitions require a surface masses of greater than 250 kg\/m\u00b2.<br \/>\nFor multi-layer panels with facing, greater noise reduction can be\u00a0achieved with less mass, taking advantage of the mass-spring\u00a0principle.<br \/>\nSound Insulation can be improved by, increasing the gaps between\u00a0layers.
