Vibro BL.mini: Vibration Isolation Wall Brace

Vibro-BL.mini is a vibration isolation wall brace, used in floating drywall applications. It consists of a L-shaped metal frame using the rubber vibration isolator support Vibro-mini .

Vibro-BL.mini is a vibration isolation wall brace. The L-shaped metal frame has various perforations for easier installation according to the application.

A special rubber vibration isolator support, Vibro-mini, is located outside to absorb mainly compression and tension forces. The pass-through screw is carefully placed in a way that contact with the metal frame is avoided, so that no sound bridge is created.

The anti-vibration wall braces Vibro-BL.mini are used in order to add structural integrity of large scale tall gypsum board walls, which are mounted on antivibration pads or based on floating floors.

This vibration isolator is used mainly to avoid any direct connection between the double walls and increase their stiffness. An additional advantage is that they also prevent wall buckling during earthquakes. It is useful also when a secondary wall is applied for improved sound insulation where rigid connections will cause unwanted sound bridges, compromising the final sound insulation.

Vibro-BL.mini can be easily mounted on an existing brick wall, using a plastic plug and screw (not included), or screwed to a wooden or metal frame.
