RK and RKT are control dampers designed for use with rectangular ducts. RK has a blade tightness class 1, and RKT has a blade tightness class 2. They have been tested according to EN 1751. The units can be used as control dampers for airflow adjustment. RKT acts as a shut-off damper in case of lower tightness requirements. The maximum recommended duct pressure for operation is 1000 Pa.

RK and RKT units are made with an aluminium profile frame and multiple aluminium profile blades. The dampers can be supplied in a manual version with an adjustable handle with a position arresting bolt. The actuator preparation has a shaft of 12mm x 12mm. RK and RKT are mounted in the ductwork by a standard flange. The installer will deliver all relevant fixing bolts, nuts, clips and gaskets.

The damper cannot be installed carrying any mechanical loads from other structures. On RKT dampers, the blades are equipped with rubber gaskets reducing leakage in the closed position. The blade axe is sitting in self-lubricating bearings which are connected together by cog gearing (for smaller sizes) or rod gearing (for larger sizes) for counteraction positioning of the blades.
