Anyone suffering from hay fever, house dust allergy or pet hair intolerance knows: keeping the windows closed is not enough. Pollen, allergens, fine dust and germs floating in the room air need a filter that really holds them back – not one that only slows them down. The AirgoClean® 170 + from TROTEC works with a three-stage filter system consisting of a synthetic fiber pre-filter, highly efficient HEPA filter and activated carbon filter. The filter efficiency is 99.97% – particles from 0.3 micrometers, including pollen, fine dust (PM2.5), mold spores, bacteria and viruses, are reliably removed from the room air before they are inhaled.

The decisive argument against many air cleaners so far has been: too loud or too much power. The AirgoClean® 170 + eliminates both objections. In the quietest operation, it works with only 20 dB(A) – quieter than a quiet conversation, quieter than most refrigerators, quieter than almost any other household appliance. Allergy sufferers face a fundamental problem: pollen grains, house dust mite droppings and pet hairs typically have a size of 1 to 100 micrometers – invisible to the eye, but highly effective for the immune system. How often must the filter be changed?

The filter lifespan depends on the room air pollution and daily operating time.
