Vibro TiLE: Versatile Rubber pad isolator

Vibro TiLe is a versatile rubber anti-vibration tile, aiming at isolating the transmission of unwanted vibration from mechanical equipment and other sources.

Vibro-TiLe is a multifunctional anti-vibration tile made of special composition rubber. Its innovative design was carried out by the R&D Department of ALPHA Acoustiki SA with a view to ease of application and the ability to cover a wide loading area. Due to its special shape, it offers a considerable retraction with the applied load. Thus, Vibro Tile achieves a high percentage of reduction of vibrations and shocks caused by the use of mechanical equipment (up to 85%).

In order to allow flexibility in selecting the required quantity, the product is available in 200x200mm order plates, comprising 16 base structural tiles. They can be very easily cut in pieces according to the specific needs of each application. They have specially shaped conical slots where M6-M8 and M10 passing screws can be easily fitted, and attach it to the machine. Tapered slots for floor fixing are also available (where required) by means of suitable fasteners.

Vibro Tile’s original design prevents the creation of sound bridges even when passing screws are used for fixing. For even greater vibration reduction it can be used in multiple layers with the insertion of a suitable steel plate for a more even load distribution. In this way the multiple layers contribute to increasing the nominal deflection and the effectiveness of vibration isolation.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:
Vibro-Tile pads are suitable for use under compressors, HVAC units, pumps, fans, AHU, heat pumps, generators, transformers, presses etc.

APPLICATION:
In most applications Vibro-Tile can remain stable due to its increased friction (circular rings on its surface). For applications where mechanical fixation is required, there are specially designed pre-drilled holes to accommodate M6-M10 screws for fixing to the machine and/or floor. These holes are designed in such a way that they do not alter the performance of the anti-vibration device.
